New Works by local artist Bungan

Bungan's journey with art has helped her to express personal thoughts and emotions that would never have been spoken. The most important part about her art is that it helps her to connect with her Aboriginal heritage. This has lead to her most recent and exciting, contemporary styled Aboriginal Art.

New Paintings by Linda Syddick Napaltjarri

Some of the stories Linda paints include the Dreaming story of the Tingari and the Emu Men. Her paintings focus on the area around Lake Mackay, which is central to the cultural and spiritual life of the Pintupi people. As the Western Desert people are semi-nomadic, they spent part of their time around the lake carrying out trade and ceremonies. Her paintings reflect the traditional way of life and also her father's and stepfather's stories which they were also responsible for.
